Would anyone be able to help or give any advice regarding a valuation on the following pocket watch

Howdy—without being able to see any details in these pics other than it seems to be a nice movement with a written estimate from 1988, I can only recommend:

-if its selling now for $950, buy it!
-if you’re selling it, have it reappraised

Or if you can post better pics (movement, markings/signatures, and any numbers), someone more qualified than I may be able to help ID it.

1888, seems better, for that insurance quote. From what I can see, more than $4000 today.
