18 Size National Key Wind Watch in Sterling Case

I don't do much 'crowing' about my collection because there is really not much to crow about......no gold cases, no high jeweled movements, just a bunch of 18 size movement that appeal to me, all work, and all are housed in either coin or sterling cases.

However, I recently got this pre-Elgin, 11 jewel movement that fit perfectly into a sterling case that I have had for some time. It has been keeping time within a minute or so for a few days.....not bad for a 140 year old timepiece, so thought to crow a bit and share it.

Oh... nice! I like the pre-elgin pieces a lot. Such a shame I've only got one and frankened a bit, too. But this will change some day, for sure Nice GMW movement! I've already shown mine just a few days before. It's slightly older, but, ads I've mentioned, not entirely original, as it has lost it's balance cock. Just for comparison:
