center weight dose down all the way to floor,Drum and spring is good. some can tell me what is wrong, am just learning about this clock( Help).

We need more details. Does it click when winding? Does the weight go up when winding and does not hold? I assume you mean the click spring is ok? Is the click itself contacting the click wheel? What kind of clock is it? Can you post photos?

1163-853 Hermle it dose click when you wind it, Spring dose work and clicks. But it unwinds with weight on the weight. the click is holdig.

You want a photo of the drum side were the spring is, it will be later to Knight.

First thing I would do is: get someone to pull up the weight and slowly lower it, while you look into the movement to see what is turning. Nothing should be turning. Willie X

this the center drum it just wins when its at the top, Ive checked the cable out it dose click cranking it up, then goes down to the floor.

This is the same clock you asked about in the other thread. I think the problem is that the click spring is bent slightly and does not hold pressure on the click tight enough to work while the click is on the bottom. When it is on the top, gravity causes it to click. Bend the spring so it holds pressure on the click at all times.
Please help us by not starting new threads on the same clock. It can be confusing.
