    Ridgeway model??

Hi, Bob. I have a few Ridgeway catalogs (1967, 1972, 1977, 1980 and 1997). Unfortunately I'm not finding your clock anywhere in my 1997 catalog, and all of my other catalogs were from the period before your clock. Sorry I wasn't of more help. Sincerely, John

Was Wondering if anyone had a Ridgeway catalog.

Hi, MuensterMann. Unfortunately, I'm not finding your clock listed in my 1997 catalog. (I only have a few catalogs--1967, 1972, 1977, 1980, and 1997). The model number you gave sounds about right for the period and indicates that your particular model debuted in 1989, and the serial number's...

Was Wondering if anyone had a Ridgeway catalog.

Hi, Rockin Ronnie. Yes, your clock appears to be model 9169, known as the "Sussex," although yours does not appear to have the "country oak" finish as described. (See attached scan). Model number 9169 would indicate that the model debuted in 1991, but the fact that it's in the 1997 catalog...

Was Wondering if anyone had a Ridgeway catalog.

Keep in mind the serial number method for dating a Ridgeway only works for those made ca. 1990 forward (perhaps mid-1980s), *not* to those made in the 1970s, 1960s, or earlier. Just an FYI. John

Trying to identify my grandfather clock

Hi, Jacque. Sorry for the delay with my response. (I only come into the Forum every couple/few months). I have a few Ridgeway catalogs (from 1967, 1972, 1977, 1980 and 1997) but unfortunately am not finding your clock. Your model number is rather unusual to me. Usually the 4-digit model...

    Ridgeway Curio Grandfather Clock

Hello, NM Desert 505 (Hey, I'm from New Mexico, too!) (Raton, up in the northeast corner). (Haven't lived there for decades, though). Anyway, sorry, I don't have any help for you. Just thought I'd chime in and say "nice clock." I have several Ridgeway catalogs, but am not finding your model...

    Ridgeway Grandfather Clock

Hi, Donna. Sorry for the delay with my response. (I only come into the Forum every couple/few months). Your clock Model 164 is known as the "Tuscany." It shows in the 1977 catalog, so your clock would have been manufactured somewhere around that period. At that time your clock had a...

Was Wondering if anyone had a Ridgeway catalog.

Hi, Dairborn. I have 5 different Ridgeway catalogs (1967, 1972, 1977, 1980, and 1997) and unfortunately can't find your model pictured in any of them. Sorry I wasn't of more help. Sincerely, John

    Just bought pulaski ridgeway

Hi, Kenny. Sorry to be two years late in replying to this thread. I have a few old Ridgeway catalogs and periodically come into the forums to see if I can help anyone identify their clock models. Looks like (from your photos of the labels) that your clock is model #9596 (meaning that the...

    Older Ridgeway GF ID?

Hi again, Argyle. Following up on my reply to you in Feb 2017, at that time I'd found your model #196 clock listed in one of my Ridgeway catalogs (the 1977 one), but there was no corresponding photo or info sheet included. I've just recently acquired another Ridgeway catalog, this one from ca...

Hi, Morné. No, I'm sorry, I don't know of anyone else to suggest. Also, I'm not sure what that particular shape of grandfather clock might be called. John

    Ridgeway Grandfather Clock

Hi, Morne, and welcome to the message board. I just replied to your private message, before seeing this thread. Now I can see what kind of clock you're talking about. Wow, I don't think I've ever seen a Ridgeway clock like this before. It's hard to see the glass tubes on the pendulum in your...

    Grandparent's Ridgeway

Hi, Jim. Welcome to the message board and congratulations on your new acquisition! I have a few old Ridgeway catalogs but am unfortunately not finding model 211 listed. Just guessing, I would estimate the clock to be from the late 1970s--perhaps from 1979 since those are the last two digits...

    Ridgeway Eli Terry

Hi, steamer471. Your clock is Ridgeway model #530, known as "The Taliaferro." It's listed in my 1977 Ridgeway catalog with a suggested retail price of $269. (See attached image). However, keep in mind that new clocks, like cars, take a huge dip in their value as soon as they leave the...
