No need, my original post was not particularly clear and I should've said type instead of size. I was eager to get an understanding of what moving this might entail before speaking to the customer too much more, hence posting before I had received a reply with photos.

As it goes, I turned down the job, there were a few factors that made it logistically a bit of nightmare...
Its a regulator, so the pendulum bob is presumably glass or metal jars, that are unsealed, and held in stirrups, and I'm assuming pose a risk to spilling if not kept upright.
I've only dealt with the kind found on French clocks, which are smaller, sealed and pose no real risk to move.
I've been emailed by a customer looking at relocating her dads Regulator to their sons house 150 miles away. They have contacted me to see if I could disassemble the clock, move it to their sons house and set it up again.
All this I'm fine with, what concerns me is the mercury pendulum...
