RM Thanks for the 'online' information. I see what you are saying about the movement, dial and bezel, but everything seems to line up perfectly. The dial seems original to the bezel, looking at the screw holes. The dial winding hole lines up with the movement etc. Anyway, it's going to be a...

    FABULOUS FACEBOOK FIND

I found this clock on Facebook 'marketplace' today, and can't seem to find much info on it. The clock is missing it's weight and weight shield. The case measures 34 inches and the dial 12. I think this may be an American 'tavern', but not sure. Any info would be appreciated. Paul

Yes, I believe the pendulum and suspension can be reversed to the front of the movement. I saw the link on that discussion. The two circle cut-outs on the pendulum would fit over the hour arbor and winding arbor. It appears the verge can be reversed because the escape wheel is dead center. I'll...

Thank you for the responses. I disassembled and cleaned the movement. I made a suspension spring and it seems to be in good running order. Here are some observations from a true amateur. The plates are 3/16 of an inch thick. There are several markings and nos. on the various pieces. There are...

I found this clock at an auction yesterday. It appears to be very high quality, but I have been unable to find any information on it whatsoever. Can someone please help? Thanks. Paul
