Was Wondering if anyone had a Ridgeway catalog.

Hi, Rockin Ronnie. Yes, your clock appears to be model 9169, known as the "Sussex," although yours does not appear to have the "country oak" finish as described. (See attached scan). Model number 9169 would indicate that the model debuted in 1991, but the fact that it's in the 1997 catalog...

Was Wondering if anyone had a Ridgeway catalog.

Keep in mind the serial number method for dating a Ridgeway only works for those made ca. 1990 forward (perhaps mid-1980s), *not* to those made in the 1970s, 1960s, or earlier. Just an FYI. John

    Help Identifying Ridgeway Grandfather Clock

LOL! I think that has been in my signature file for like 14 or so years now! Sad to say I've mostly lost my one-time clock obsession, and have even parted with several since then. Also, I've long since forgotten which clocks I'd already photographed/inventoried, so it looks like I'll never be...

    Crazy little clock

Hello. I have a few Ridgeway catalogs (1967, 1972, 1977, 1980 and 1997) and yes, your clock indeed matches model 141, known as the "Miss Kelly," which appeared in the 1967 catalog (but may have been manufactured a couple/few years either side of that date). Attached is the photo from the 1967...

Trying to identify my grandfather clock

Hi, Jacque. Sorry for the delay with my response. (I only come into the Forum every couple/few months). I have a few Ridgeway catalogs (from 1967, 1972, 1977, 1980 and 1997) but unfortunately am not finding your clock. Your model number is rather unusual to me. Usually the 4-digit model...

    Need Help with Identifying

Hi, Tom. Sorry for the delay with my response. (I only come into the Forum every couple/few months). Yes, it would be helpful if you could find a model number. I have a few Ridgeway catalogs (from 1967, 1972, 1977, 1980 and 1997) and quickly looked through them, but wasn't able to find a...

    Help Identifying Ridgeway Grandfather Clock

Hi, Aceolus. Your clock Model 119 is known as the "William Penn." I have a few sporadic Ridgeway catalogs (1967, 1972, 1977, 1980 and 1997) and yours shows in the 1980 catalog, so your clock would have been manufactured somewhere around that period. At that time your clock had a...

Inherited Ridgeway Grandfather Clock - Estimated Value?

Hi, Tim. Sorry for the delay with my response. (I only come into the Forum every couple/few months). From what I can tell, your clock appears to be Model 149, known as the "Sarah Payne." It shows in the 1972, 1977, and 1980 catalogs, so your clock would have been manufactured somewhere...

Unusual Ridgeway Ernest Hemingway Grandfather Clock

Hi, nk14366. Sorry for the delay with my response. (I only come into the Forum every couple/few months). And sorry, but I'm not finding your clock in any of the Ridgeway catalogs I have on hand. But I only have the 1967, 1972, 1977, 1980 and 1997 catalogs, and I can tell by the first two...

Hi, Joseph. Sorry for the delay with my response. (I only come into the Forum every couple/few months). And sorry I'm unable to assist with your chiming issue, but I see on the card that your clock is Model 135 so I thought I would pop in and share some information from one of my Ridgeway...

    Ridgeway Curio Grandfather Clock

Hello, NM Desert 505 (Hey, I'm from New Mexico, too!) (Raton, up in the northeast corner). (Haven't lived there for decades, though). Anyway, sorry, I don't have any help for you. Just thought I'd chime in and say "nice clock." I have several Ridgeway catalogs, but am not finding your model...

Hi, Donna. Sorry for the delay with my response. (I only come into the Forum every couple/few months). Your clock Model 164 is known as the "Tuscany." It shows in the 1977 catalog, so your clock would have been manufactured somewhere around that period. At that time your clock had a...

Information on a Ridgeway coffee table

Very interesting! I don't think I've ever seen a Ridgeway coffee table clock. (There aren't any showing in my catalogs). (I do have a smaller side-table clock, but it's not a Ridgeway). I agree with Willie X that your clock probably dates from 1990. Nice find! John

    Ridgeway grandfather clock pine

Hi, ilchick47. Sorry for the delay with my response. (I only come into the Forum every couple/few months). Your clock is Model 150 (not 6150 or R6150) and was known as the "Betsey Ward." It shows in the 1972, 1977, and 1980 catalogs, so your clock would have been manufactured somewhere...

Hi, Dairborn. I have 5 different Ridgeway catalogs (1967, 1972, 1977, 1980, and 1997) and unfortunately can't find your model pictured in any of them. Sorry I wasn't of more help. Sincerely, John

Say hello to my first GF clock, a Gravely Ridgeway

Hi, Jessixa. Welcome to the forum, and congrats on your recent clock acquisition! I have a few old Ridgeway catalogs, and I come here into the forums from time to time to see if I can assist anyone who's trying to identify their clock models. My information agrees that your clock model 196 is...

    Ridgeway Grandfather Clock

Hi, Mommaj. Sorry for the late response to your post. Regarding your clock model 121, that happens to be one of the strange instances where Ridgeway re-used model numbers. Model 121 in their 1967 and 1977 catalogs was called "The Lady Hale." However, in their 1980 catalog, model 121 was called...
