    Hi I'm working on a Seth Thomas mantle clock and it strikes 12 times at noon & midnight. But it also strikes 12 times at 1pm and 1 am.All the rest work correctly. Can someone help? It has an A-48-R movement. I completely cleaned , oiled and replaced a couple of bushings. Can anyone help Thanks:)

    Pre-Keystone Howard movement size question

    The older models of Howards are not 18s and need howard cases. Because many Howard cases were made of gold they were sold for scrap. Leaving so many Howard movements without cases, which is a shame.
