    Lux Cuckoo Clock

Thank you all very much....although the 1940 date messes with Gramma's story about it being a wedding gift. Unfortunately, I'll never know how it ended up in their dinning room but at least now I know what it was called and the era it's from. AND it's a great clock. Thank you all again!

    Lux Cuckoo Clock

Does anyone know of resource that describes Lux Cuckoo clocks? I've been searching the web looking for the model number or name of mine. This clock has been in my family for almost a 100 years. It was given to my grand parents as a wedding gift in the 1920's. Back then (I've been told) when...

It just so happens that I'm working on a clock right now that has almost this exact same movement. On the back plate there is a stamp that says "MAROUE DEPOSEE". Over the past year I've had 3 other of these types of movements but this is the only one that is stamped. Also, (you may already know...

    Ever see one of these?

Sure thing.... I just figured out the escape wheel has a broken pin on the back side which is why is't dismantled. Not sure if it can be replaced :-(

    Ever see one of these?

Does anyone know or have a guess about this clock. It has no markings on the case, movement, or dial (porcelain). My client/ the owner bought the clock in Japan 30+ years ago. All the brass has polished up nicely although I haven’t started it yet. Obviously, these are the ”before” pics. thanks...
