    I'm repairing a Buren 12. The driving gear for ratchet wheel (#1482) is broken, and i need a new one. The original wheel has 14 leaves in the pinion, but the ones i find have 16 leaves in the pinion. Someone knows why is it happening? Could i use this 16 teeth wheel? Thanks.

    Sometimes the letter that appears indicates that the canion of the minute wheel and hour wheel is long or short. I don't know if it's useful in this situation. I know it's true with some old SEIKO chronograph movements. Thank you.
