I'm repairing a Buren 12. The driving gear for ratchet wheel (#1482) is broken, and i need a new one. The original wheel has 14 leaves in the pinion, but the ones i find have 16 leaves in the pinion. Someone knows why is it happening? Could i use this 16 teeth wheel? Thanks.
I've read that the first option is not recomended. I've tried the third option and the only problem is that the battery must be changed in about 9 months.
Thanks.
Sometimes the letter that appears indicates that the canion of the minute wheel and hour wheel is long or short. I don't know if it's useful in this situation. I know it's true with some old SEIKO chronograph movements.
Thank you.
