I'm repairing a Schatz cal. 59. I need a new hairspring, i've realized that it has a wrong hairspring (maybe from an alarm clock), and is impossible to run. Anyone knows where to find a hairspring to adapt to this clock?
Thank you.
Attached to this thread there are some pictures of a clock i'd to know the frequency (BPH) to adjust the pendulum. Anyone have any information? At the back plate you can see this ref. 790E74, the only one you'll find.
Thank you.
The hands aren't counter balanced. The center of mass is 19 cm for minute hand, and 16 cm for hour hand. That's why i need a movement with high torque, not a battery high torque quartz movement (this movement isn't enough powerful). I was thinking in an electric movement.
Thank you.
I'm looking for a manufacturer of clock movements for heavy hands. I've got a dial with hands of 360 g (40 cm long) and 310 g (33 cm long). It's for an inner use, and i'm looking for a movement that could move this hands. Some idea here in Europe?
Thank you.
I've repaired a JUNGHANS clock that you can see in the pictures attached. It's a JUNGHANS with the ref P112 (i'd say it's the pendulum lenght). But under the JUNGHANS symbol you can see what seems a Gustav Becker logo. I'd say it was a Gustav Becker plate that JUNGHANS used for its clock...
I'm trying to identify the movement. I know it's a French movement, about the end of the XIX century. But i haven't found any brand or mark. Only some numbers. Any idea?
Thank you.
Dear friends,
finally i've repaired the movement. I've found the parts: the hour wheel was the same size, but the rack hook had a different size. I had to work a lot to modify the size. Now the clock is working.
Thank you.
