Is there a substance which will safely remove the "gum" from the old labels on new-old-stock crystals?
So far, I have used denatured alcohol, crystal cleaner, and Goo-Gone, but there is still a shadow of the label on crystal. It is a beveled glass crystal for a pocket watch.
Thanks so much...
Re: Watch Parts Wanted
Looking for a case for Omega 16 J. Case # is 2292 (inside case back) On the outside of the case back is GB/159 A/2777.
Jules Borel doesn't have it...maybe someone knows of another source.
Thanks so much!

If silk, who is a supplier?
Your input...

Any ideas? Maybe I have the gut going in the wrong...
I have a Western Union self winding master clock in for repair. The dry cell and synchronizer have been replaced. Clock will run on a full wind at 10 after the hour. Sometimes it will only do a partial wind, then the clock will stop after about 30 minutes.
On occasions, I can manually...
Does anyone know what happened to the Elgin Watch Serial Number Database? The link I have used trusted-forwarder.org/elgin/index.html
is a dead link.
Thanks,
Tony
