    Schatz 53 anniversary clock bakelite base. The outer surface has lost all of the shine, how can it be restored to the same as the inner original?

    Arrg! disaster, I noticed that one of the pivots on number 5 wheel (I think it's 5, counting from the mainspring) was bent, snapped off trying to straighten it. Tried looking for a replacement wheel but no luck. Could get a clock from USA parts only for a reasonable price, but adding on...

    Please can someone supply a complete wheel, or even repair this? I know that it's a very cheeky ask but someone out there has the expertise and the gear to do it I'm sure and I'm willing to pay, ofcourse.
