Today I am wearing an Amsterdam Sauer Naval Hero 100. This is a modele depose watch from a famous Brazilian jewelry store. A little internet research showed that this is originally made and sold by Candino. Nicely finished watch with a pleasant mix of finishings and a very comfortable bracelet...

Glad to hear! I too love the dial, so simple and clean, yet so crisp and well made. I think it is very comfortable as well and do believe it will be with me for many years, if not decades. Beautiful Elgin by the way. And the Citizen is not too shabby, either :).

Today I'm wearing the newest addition to my collection, a Casio MTP V006G. Having had a number of digital Casios over the years, I've always wanted to try an analogue Casio. And I've always wanted a watch with Roman numerals, though that somehow always escaped me. So this one was very appealing...

Hello all. Not a common type of watch on this thread, but it is what I'm wearing today: a Casio W217. Yes a digital, but this one pulled on my hearstrings. It reminds me of some watches I had in the late 1970s and early 80s when I was still a kid. It is larger than those though, has an...

Hi all. Swatch Irony. Got this in 1994 or 95. I wore it almost everyday for almost 10 years, then tired of it and wore it much less often. Then the battery died and I kept it in a drawer for about a decade. Recently put in a new battery and it's ticking away like new. Almost a vintage watch by now.

Hello everyone I'm wearing my Mido Multi Star Datoday Automatic (from what I was able to find online, this watch was made from 1970-1979). Got it from my grandfather when he passed on in the late 90s. Interestingly, I never wore it as I was heavier back then and it was too small for me. As...
