I wonder whether anyone has ever done this experiment for real. It sounds like it should be a high-school classic (alongside dissolving things in Coca-Cola.) Sweet. I like the way the creator wrote "Big Ben" underneath it so you know which clock it is. Add in a couple of doors and hey presto - the Trumpton clock appears :-)- topspin

Watch attachments
I have noticed that 90% of pocket watches seem to be sold with no attachment. If a watch comes with any kind of attachment - even just some random strap / tassel / tag / nicknack - I will usually keep that item on it.
