Well, I decided to purchase a copy, Dr. Jon's review not withstanding. I'm saving my money for a VC Patrimony wrist watch and thought this book would inspire me to refrain from squandering my savings on yet another pocket watch(es), lol. Focus.

Oops, never mind about the price drop. Apparently I got lucky because the listed price on Amazon has gone back up to $485.
Still, that's a bargain compared to the Collectible set that's on offer for $4,276, which btw doesn't state what makes it so "collectible." Maybe it comes with a Saxony...
I just purchased a copy of this set on Amazon. I'm happy to report the price has come down to $400, making it somewhat more affordable.
