Thank you.
I was looking at past Bulletin articles and I was leaning towards a 1860 date. My assumption was incorrect as Tatyana provides a 1875 date.
I just returned from visiting with her and as I was mounting the clock it did not take long to realize the clock was of high quality...
My daughter was gifted the clock shown in the attached pictures. I would appreciate any information you can provide or comments you might have pertaining to this Lenzkirch regulator. The pictures show the ALG trademark and a serial number 219865.
W&H Cottage Clock Pendulum
Any suggestions where to look for a W&H cottage clock pendulum would be appreciated. The pendulum has a side hook. An example of what I'm missing is shown.

Everything I read seems to indicate these W&H cottage clocks are prevalent in Europe but I can't seem to find much on them in the MB. A 2012 post provides a nice cottage clock with the alarm feature: https://mb.nawcc.org/showthread.php?87894-Winterhalder-Hofmeier-Cottage-Clock I recently came...

Thanks for your input.

My wife found this small Illinois Watch Company watch among jewelry she was given. Was it worn as a pin upside down? I am interested in learning more about the watch. Thanks.
Thank you Peter and novice.
I would have guessed a mill. Interesting that it might be an overseas view. I wasn't able to get a single clear shot of the back of the dial so a few views are shown. You might make out where I was seeing the #44 that also appears on the movement. I didn't...
Peter,
Thank you for the information. It had not occurred to me that this portrayed more hills than is typical. Can you tell me what kind of building is in the background? I was surprised to see such a large stone structure behind a building with a thatch roof.
Thanks Jeremy. I suspected as much but thought I would ask someone with more knowledge.
I've seen your name on a number of Dutch clock posts. I have another question. My clock keeps time fairly well. The weight runs out after about 17 hours. There is slight chattering as the links settle...
