Hello guys. I just got this beautiful GF clock. The movement has wood plates and brass gears. I am assuming from the 1850's.
I am wondering what I need to use to lubricate it. It will only run for a few minutes and looks dry.
Any suggestions.
Also any of you have.an idea of manufacturer.
Thank you. Now I feel ignorant. Lol. The pendulum was just stuck in there. The pendulum needs to hook on each side. It just runs really fast and have no adjustment left
I am researching this clock. I am unable to find a clock Haller made like this. I may be mistaken, but it looks as if someone out a mantle clock movement in a different case. Any ideas. I am looking for the pendulum.
I have a wall clock movement that has a deer stamped on the back. #59476 and a #16 stamped on the front. Any idea manufacturer. Vienna? Wall clock movement
