I'm not sure how early Zenith movements are identified . I had seen that on the bay but I suspect that's much later but thanks any way. I have found a reference in Coulsons Shopkey but there isn't any cal other than 11"'?
I've come across this movement design now in anything from 10.5''' to...
With the benefit of hindsight which of course is the most exact science known to man the calibre of this watch is 11"' not 10.5 ?
The first post still applies for my wants but not for the 10.5 cal.

I'm on the lookout for spares for a Zenith cal 10 1/2 NSI movement
I need a roller or a broken balance with a roller or a good balance complete or a complete movement.
Any of the above will be fine.
Hi
This is new territory for me, my watch has a Dennison case and the sleeve appeared to be screwed in like on Borgel cases. The example you show in your photographs appears to be a push fit?
My stem looks similar but Ill take the sleeve out and have look. I'll see if I can source some sleeves...
Hi
I'm trying to fix this Waltham, it has negative set winding. I can see that the clutch sets in the hand winding position until the crown and stem are pushed in to wind the main spring and that I think is the correct way of operation? The issue I have is that once the watch has been wound and...
Rick thats just what the doctor ordered thanks a lot I'll try to either make something or manage to buy replacement bits. I imagine the length and diameter of the sleeve is critical so making something is favourite.
Ok Rick I would like to see the photographs but I think I’ll have to make a sleeve and modify a stem and crown.
Thanks for your patience and all your help..
What I mean is, how tight is the sleeve in the case and how tight is the sleeve on the stem. The crown has to be able to rotate to wind or set. What prevents the crown and stem from coming out. Is the a groove on the stem that the sleeve tightens onto ? I'm sorry to sound so thick but I'm on a...
I've looked at the link that Rick sent and that makes sense now my next question is are these Hampden watches the same? I cant detect any threads in the case so I suspect they are the same or similar. Is the crown and held in just by friction???
Gerry
The photo is off the eBay site I don't have a stem or the crown even though they were on the listing. Thanks for the link I like these swell though this is my only one.
Hi my first post on this board. I bought this Hampden wrist watch (based on a pocket watch) but it came without the winder or stem. I understand it neg set but for the life of me I cant see how the stem and crown would be retained in the case so a little help is required if anyone knows? Ah I'm...
