    Hi all! I know from the serial number it's a Waltham model 1894/grade 225 - just wanted to check on the case.... Is "Warranted to Assay 14K" always solid gold? This was from a very financially challenged relative.....not sure how they would have purchased a solid gold-cased watch? Maybe...

    Hi all, A friend asked me to clean/lube this Waltham PS Bartlett to get it ready to sell. The case marking is a crown over the number 18. Is this solid 18k? No other case markings. Appreciate the advice!
