Thanks Graham its superb. I have tried to read the makers name in the lid and it seems to be a Triangle with the name( Star) i think and underneath is printed :- A MARQUE PREFERRED BON OUTELLAGE. But the label is hard to read and there does not seem to be a name of the manufacturer.
please can anyone guide me on how to proceed with the name of the part that is attached to the movement with two screws with slots that carries the anchor shaft and the proceedure on how to get the movent in beat starting with the position of this part with the screws. Thank you

Richard:- I did not count the teeth on the moon dial but I counted 10 then muliplied by the length of the ten -would be more like 160. there seems to be only one hole that will move the dial and that one is where the second hand ( attached is the photo ) comes out, but like I say the teeth on...
