Primitive Jacot tool?
Thanks Graham! I've wanted to do some repivoting, but my lathe's tailstock doesn't line up well with the headstock, so this may be a tool I end up using...my Jacot tool uses the spring loaded drum, so I'll have to make myself a bow if I want to try this out. In your experience, do these do...- Al J

I picked up some things from the estate of a retired watchmaker, and this tool was in the lot: Another view: It sort of resembles a very small and crude Jacot tool, but curious if anyone could confirm. No markings on the case, but there are three letters stamped on the side of the tool...- Al J
