Eyeglasses
Has anyone tried eyeglasses like this: http://tinyurl.com/33vydb and are they any good? The 15" focusing distance might be useful on the lathe. (good for the back, anyways) I always did fancy the magnifying spectacles that surgeons use nowadays. Per- Per G

Tailstock tapers
Does anyone know where to find a 3° 30' taper reamer, 4 mm at the fat end? I have to turn up a couple of centers for the tailstock spindle and need to make some kind of fixture to hold the tapered part in the lathe while I turn the male and female centers.
