1918 Lenzkirch mantel clock. What pendulum bob should it have?

I included a photo of the numbers. The number to the right looks like a 10 but could be a 40 that wasn't punched cleanly. I checked the mounting posts that hold the movement to the face and they look unmodified. However, it's possible that the movement and face were both moved to this case. I'll...

    Post your Lenzkirch clocks here.

I would have removed the post in the other area but it doesn't seem to be possible. Oleg, thank you very much, this is very helpful!

    Post your Lenzkirch clocks here.

I just picked up this Lenzkirch clock but it's got the wrong pendulum bob. I searched through this whole thread and couldn't find a clock like it. Does anyone have a similar clock or a catalog that might show what the bob should look like? The serial number is "1 million" 876,802, if that's...

    Art Nouveau clock, maybe French

Yes, I believe it was artificially patinated. There are two colors, a dark almost olive black, and a brown. I only plan on polishing the numbers on the clock face, so they can be seen.

    Art Nouveau clock, maybe French

Last week I picked up this Art Nouveau clock at an auction. It's in pieces but luckily it seems to have all the parts except the hands and the pendulum. It has a minute hand but it doesn't appear to fit the movement. Any idea what the pendulum should look like? It's a well made movement but...

1918 Lenzkirch mantel clock. What pendulum bob should it have?

I just picked up this Lenzkirch at an auction and I can't believe that sunburst bob is correct. Anyone know what the bob should look like? It runs, but some things don't look right. The crutch and pendulum hanger don't line up correctly and they rub against the bell. It looks like a previous...

    Un-jeweled lever escapement balance woes

This thread was super helpful! I've been working on a Sessions clock with a very similar movement to the one shown here and using these tips was able to get it working again (after replacing the mainspring).

Swedish longcase clock, not Mora style

Thank you! We we're wondering what the name was. Is it really possible that this clock dates back to 1780-1830? I was thinking it looked older than the 1875 Ansonia I found for my brother in law but I didn't realize it could be that old. The paint is fairly new, I think from the 1990s when it...

Swedish longcase clock, not Mora style

My mother bought this clock recently from a woman that brought it to the US from Sweden. I can't find much about Swedish clocks on the Internet but the style seems very similar to a Danish Bornholm clock. Anyone here know about what age it is or anything else about it that I could pass on to...
