I just picked up this weight driven Seth Thomas. I've never owned a weight driven clock.
It appears not too difficult to work on.
All I have to identify this clock are the photos attached here. I can not read what's stamped on the back of the movement and the dial...
This Ansonia mantel? clock is about 2.5" in diameter and the case is about 7.5" by 2.75".
The case is metal and may be cast aluminum.
The lady selling this clock has no idea who the clock maker is.
Before I end up driving an hour I hope someone can tell me that it is not...

There are no markings that I could see on the plates of this movement.
The cabinet has a New Heaven sticker on the back.

On the back plate there is a small 5 point star in a circle. The is number 81 stamped and also R103.
I acquired these two weights which are about 7 pounds each.
I'm familiar with the cylindrical brass weights from the 1970s.
