    What's wrong ?

I've ordered a repro adjustable bottom block and have the clock running with its current setup. The suspension spring is holding the pendulum about half way between the base and the movement. It doesn't look right. When I get the new bottom block I'll get a new suspension spring. Any idea...

    What's wrong ?

Does not having any markings or serial numbers on the plates indicate that it is an early or late production date?

    What's wrong ?

I've search the forums for Kienzle 204 and have found a couple of pictures of back plates that are different then mine. They all have a cut out on the top center and this one doesn't. Does that make a difference?

    What's wrong ?

I just purchased a torsion and I think the plates belong to plate 1663. But I'm not sure that blocks are proper and I think that a Disc versus a 4 ball is proper pendulum. So the question is, is it an early Badische Uhrenfabrik? Any idea of date? Any info would help. Thanks. Barry

The newest. I just picked up a Victoria. The top of the line made by Canada Clock Company in Hamilton. It matches the Ansonia Triumph and the New Haven Occidental Here's a picture of how some are displayed in our TV room. I love looking up during commercials and enjoying the clocks

Someone has added blocks to the bottom of the seat board and have screwed the board to the rails holding it in place.

The rack is screwed into place. I guess I can unscrew it. How did you put the pins into the dial posts after moving the movement and rack into place and adjusting the hammers?

    Picked up over the weekend

Steve Can you tell if the case is a Lenzkirch or just a Lenzkirch movement placed in a German made case. I think I may have a challenge putting the movement back in the case as the case doesn't have any side access doors.

Just finished servicing the movement and it came out looking great. But I discovered a problem that I need help with. One of the chime rods has been broken and poorly soldered as a repair in the past. Any idea where I might find a replacement rod?

This one jumped out at me locally. Price was right. Only issue besides being dirty are a couple of loose gong rods.

    Canada/Hamilton Clock Company

I saved this one to last. It is the Ontario model of the Canada Clock Company. It came in a couple of versions. One with a full base and this one that is suppose to be mounted on an accompanying shelf (it's missing).

    Canada/Hamilton Clock Company

Thanks Pat. I am looking for a supplier that can reproduce an image on glass locally. The Canada Clock Company used a local glass company in producing their tablets in the 1870-80's so the look they have isn't common to any other manufacturer. Most repros available are to American Clock...

    Canada/Hamilton Clock Company

Nice clock. It has the same tablet as the third clock in the first row. My clock is missing hands. I'll get around to finding a pair in the near future. I don't have any movement pictures, is there something you're looking for and I'll make sure I take a picture showing what you're...

Has anyone approach a Digital Glass Printing facility to see if they could print a scanned tablet? And if they could, how were the results? If they can print logos on glass, why couldn't we scan a tablet using a flat bed scanner, touch it up and/or enhance the image using Photoshop, and print...

    Canada/Hamilton Clock Company

I have a question for the mass. The first clock in the second row has a nice colourful tablet. I have a number of Canada Clocks were the tablet has been broken in the past, and a plain piece of glass has replaced it. Is there a method where I can scan an old colourful tablet and reproduce...
