    Thanks Brian - that really helps. I haven't ever seen this particular lever in any clock that I have done before. Too bad there is no name on this clock - it seems to be high quality and the 8 foot clock is wonderful!

    Hi R & A - I dismantled it and the gear can only go on one way because the click spring is attached to it. Thanks - I would rather check it now than have all of the clock installed and then realize I got it wrong - Pat

    Thanks Bruce - I've already assembled it and taken photos but now I need to take it apart again to clean it. I have to make a stand for it because I don't have anything to hold a clock that large. The big challenge will be getting all of the pins and strikers synchronized. Pat
