    So I finally got a quote from one place, Tapco cutting tools. $180. I like the idea of a speed nut. And Ill wait til I can get a thread cutting attachment for this kind of problem, one always needs more tools!

    Not so much on Grainger either. They said not. I have reached out to 2 other custom tap makers but they have not answered yet. Same old story. "Fill out this form! We'd love to hear from you! We'll get back to you shortly! Etc Etc. ha.

    Already tried that. Thread count of 28 tpi corresponds to 0.9 pitch in metric. What the local box store has is 4x.07
