Brass alloy used in 19th century English Pocket Watches
In my collection of English pocket watches I occasionally need to manufacture a brass part. Does anyone know of research that has determined the alloy of brass typically used for plates of these pocket watches? If there is little available, I may send some pieces to a lab to get an analysis.- laminar
