Sorry I had forgotten to include the serial number...it is 459269. I'm in touch with a person I found on e-bay to try to find a more appropriate crown. Although, this one looks fairly good...I would rather have one more appropriate to the clock.
This is my latest purchase. I'm wondering if the crown is original. The main reason I question it is that it just sits on top of the clock, while there appear to be dowel holes in the top of the case. I've looked through all of the pages on this site..but they either appear to be fancier or...
First: the jewel bar from Timesavers does not work on this clock without some major "retrofiting". The threads are not the same and the bar itself is too thick to hang the "swinging" part of the clock.
Fortunately I didn't need it afterall.

It's been working ever since I posted this..go figure. As far as the "beat" goes...after straightening the rods on the swinging part of the clock...it has a +1 to -2 rating on the microset.
