Excelsior Bedford Mass Swiss Fake
I like this hometown cheap private label idea, except Excelsior Watch Co.,was such a generic name. Could someone have attempted to start a manufacturer by buying a few thousand blank movements and branding them? Or is that just wishful thinking on my part... :)- Daniel Buttrick

The higher serial number of the two is a basketcase with at least a broken balance staff. The balance on the other swings freely, although I haven't tried to wind it.- Daniel Buttrick

Several months ago I found a Model 57-like watch branded from my hometown. Then, I found another one. Of course I had to have them.
