Trying to Identify who made this cuckoo

Well a kind thanks and a HAT TIP to you my fair lad. :) Rick, your clock is not a Beha, but rather a Tritschler. A very high quality maker, and well worth any efforts to make it whole again.

Accepted accuracy of a Cuckoo clock

Willie X, I see you on many occasion, seeming to "knock" on the good old cuckoo clock. :) ..... I seen me a few cuckoo clocks that were not "junk" as you seem to always insinuate. :) I have clocks from the Black forest that make time accurate to within a few seconds a month. One of the...

Help needed to remove pinion that drives countwheel on Camerer Kuss Beha movement

Dont overthink it, Just pull it out. These old wood-plates are pretty stout. If you are working on wood-plate cuckoo clocks regularly a good selection of misc sized taper pins is surely warranted. Somebody else said, yes, the Cuss label is the retailer Kammerer Cuss. This clock is a great...

    Beha #808

A STUNNING example Tom. Far larger than other I have seen in similar theme. that movement is a monster. This one is DELIGHTFULLY preserved. One of the cleanest I have seen. Noting I have only ever seen one other No.808 ever, and it was fusee. I think yours stands alone at this point with...

Wooden eight day movement double fusee cuckoo clock

Pardon me but just a word, This site I have seen largely states speculation as fact, much of what I have seen here on this site is not accurate. Also found that any attempt to offer an outside fact that might contradict the speculation they make is met with flaming and ridicule. In short...

Bought this on ebay. Can anyone Identify the maker?

Looks like a nice early Tritchler. Motha Tritchler was very close to Beha and most certainly shared construction techniques. Great clock. Nice clock Mark... ;) WELL worth the $550...... oh wait, discussing values is against the rules.. lol. Prepare to have your post cut down.

    Unusual Black Forest Mantel Cuckoo

suppose there were a junghans cuckoo...... somewhere in history that sat in a dank basement, and was destroyed by the moisture.. the only thing left? :) And frankly, and only in my humble opinion, that case outweighs ANYTHING Junghans ever made.. Dial? Easy, take one from a weight...

    Unusual Black Forest Mantel Cuckoo

Happens a lot Harold. I have seen them come to light MANY times without a movement entirely. Just an empty case. Guys do this, tear apart 150 clocks, and start them all, never finish them, and a heart-attack later, the whole pile ends up in a sale.... lots of them with empty cases and nobody...

    Unusual Black Forest Mantel Cuckoo

No chance that clock is Junghans.. none. You can even see thew shadows from the mount feet from the original much bigger BF movement. No question about it. :) The hands would have traveled with the movement Harold. As do the dials most times as the hole pattern is so hard to match.
