Jon,
At least 15, sorry for the incomplete description.
The Dial was/is (I hope) marked American Waltham President
A Hunter movement, marked same as dial.
I looked at so many watches yesterday they all started to look the same.

Today I am having day after second thoughts. One of those those "dang I should have" days.

OK.
Now I am a little more informed. Sorry for the misleading information.
The watch is a U.S Watch Co. of Waltham
17J HC marked Adj 6 positions The President.
Movement is two tone.
Multicolored dial Marked US Watch co. Waltham. The President.
No serial available.
In a GF Boxed hunter case. Average condition.

My question is amount of production. I have absolutely nothing for research. Other than price guide.

Much appreciated and purchase is waiting in the wings. Thanks, Don

Default 18s Waltham "President" ???

I just tried to use the on-line bulletin search for this. there was an article in the bulletin in the recent past....
the search did not bring up what I was looking for.
Will try to thumb through a few....

Don:

There were probably 1,000 made (150,000 - 150,999). The first 150 or 200 serial numbers were hunting-case watches. The rest were open-face. Both Roman and Arabic "The President" signed dials were furnished.

The article is on pages 817-821 in the December 1999 Bulletin. Follow-up information is on pages 223-4 of the April 2000 issue and on pages 365-7 of the June 2000 issue.

Would you please let me know the watch's serial number and dial type if you get it?

Thanks in advance,
Kent
