Default Mdl 1857

Good Evening,
Could someone give some information on an American Watch Co Mdl 1857. It has serial number 757097. It is a seven jewel and has Stem Winding and Key set. Orginal 3oz Am Watham coin silver hunting case. Marked Home Watch Co, which I do believe is a low grade 57. My questions are, how many stem wind and key sets were produced? I have key wind and key set, and Stem wind and lever set, but this is the first stem wind and key set. How long did the transition take to all stem wind and lever set? Were any Mdl 57's ever pendant set? Was this transition used on all Mdl 57's or only on certain grades?
Thanks in advance... John Pavlik
