I've never seen one myself,although with luck, next month I should have one in my hot little hands. When it lands I'll get some good pics, and check the innards to see exactly what the movement is, amd what the watch is like in general.. Seems to look exactly like the AS in the later Swiss Ball RR watches.

It was my understanding (although I could be mistaken) that the Swiss AS version post-dated the original durabalance Elgin by at least 10 years..(however all the info I have on this is anecdotal, hopefully wiser heads than mine will chime in)

I have a small early 40s looking manual wind signed Web C.Ball co on the dial. It is made by Mimo. I have seen many Ball watches made by Admes but never any other companies.

Have not seen a mimo.

If it says "webb c. ball" and not just Ball it would be of great interest.

Ball used many movements in his wrists for his store and for the RR.

He used Waltham, longines, and many other imported with his own import mark.
