Can anyone tell me about this pocket watch? History? Age?

I'm trying to find out the history on my dads old pocket watch. I do not have any history on it but would like to find out as much about it as possible. If anybody could direct me where I could find out more about it that would be great, or if you know anything about it that would be helpful aswell. It reads System Glasshutte, antimagnetisch. On the side that opens it has small picture of a crown and the numbers 0-585 with a box around those numbers, then the numbers 322 340 below that. thanks Stefan

The crown is the German gold mark, the 585 is the 14K standard. Posting some good quality clear pictures of the movement and of those and any other marks will help you find out more.

Thanks I'll try to upload a few pictures, I was wondering if there is any sites to determine the age by the numbers on the watch?

Almost certainly not, rino. It's not even certain who the maker or makers of these Systeme Glashutte watches was/were.

If you are referring to the 6-digit number beneath the 0-585 when you say 'numbers on the watch', almost certainly the answer will be no, as those numbers aren't production numbers for the watch, they are numbers for the case, and watch age does not necessarily match up to case age as cases wore out over time and watch movements were often recased as a result.
