Hi Eric, I love the dial on the your clock simple yet elegant.

This is my latest addition and my second early Kundo.
Plate 1151 except for the click spring holes which are reversed from the RG of course.
The serial number is 42151 which would be early 30s?

Eric, thanks for posting. Is there a pendulum with the clock? It would have been fitted with pendulum No. 35 in the Repair Guide.
Based on the serial number your clock was made about mid-1931. Plate 1151 as shown in the Repair Guide is actually incorrect regarding the position of the click spring hole, it should be reversed for that serial number. The arrangement shown did not actually appear until serial number 54081 and later, when the pendulum base cup was introduced in mid-1933. I can see how Terwilliger was confused since he didn't know the base cup was introduced in the 1930's so there was nothing he could compare to. We now have ample data to show what actually happened and when.
Very nice clock, this will be really nice when it is fully cleaned up.
Yes, I like the silvered dials too and the overall quality of the clock compared to the later models.
There is a pendulum, but it's a number 33. It will do for now and I'll find the correct one, eventually.
I spent some time polishing on the base before taking the pictures. I'm not one for taking dials appart so it will probably remain as is.
Now would the the suspension guard have had the two inverted "V" fingers at the bottom, or the "L" shaped keeper (RG, page 235, unit 1, A or B)?
Eric
Took some time but I finally found the correct pendulum!
Eric
That's it!! Now the clock is whole again.
I have this suspension guard for it too, so I think it's all authentic now.
