Sometimes, but not very often, hour hands can get really stuck to movement and
it can be treacherous to pry them off by force, as this could cause damage to the
hour and minute wheels.
Usually, the hand collet is slitted and a very small drop of light oil, soaking in over night
may help in combination with a hand puller.
If the hour strike is off, you can also move try to move the hour hand to the correct position -
but you'll still have to make it "turnable" to its original friction fit anyway.
