Default 1932 Whitehall Hammond Pirate Clock With Garniture

In 1932 Whitehall Hammond produced a clock and a garniture for children. The clock featured a pirate figure standing beside the clock. While they do not come up for sale that often they are not that rare. There was a garniture that also came with the clock of a pirate sitting on a stylized marble/oynx treasure chest that is extremely rare. It is rare that these two survive together. Most have seen the clock, but never the garniture.

Here are some pictures of the figures separate and a picture of them together, thanks Jay. I guess at 61 I am a big kid at heart. It now resides in my bedroom on a bookcase next to the bed. I love it. however other people in the house are not so impressed with it as I am.

I could imagine, kids of long gone days would haved loved
the pirates and would have been "inspired" by them.
What would I have done, to get a clock like that ?

As long as you don't hoist the Jolly Roger in your front yard, it's OK, don't worry !
