We will need to see at least two pictures of the clock, inside and out before we can counsel.
Later we can move this to "Early Electric Clocks" forum, a little further down the list for more expertise there. Thanks!
I just purchased a neon ad clock. The neon is missing but the clock and ad drum work. The transformer is present. I need a picture the interior of the clock with neon so I can figure out what I am missing.
I also need to purchase the dial & drum bezel and serial numer plate. Any hints on where to look.

Hi, Tom, welcome to the message board. Your motor appears to be going to the transformer. It should run on 110 volts ac. For the parts you need, contact Wayne at Waynes Neon Clocks:

Yes, the motor and transformer primary are connected in parallel. There may be a switch for turning off the neon. It appears the neon was a small circular tube. The wire at top and probably two or more others secured the tube. Perhaps Wayne will know the original color. I'd choose a color that pleases me.
Awsum little clock! Congrats.
Wish I had one....

I have copies of the original ad cards for this clock if you need some contact me.
I have a clock very similar to this, only it isn't a rotating fliper version, it has a slot to place a glass/plexiglass painted ad...does anyone know where I might be able to find an original or good repro??
