Default Escape wheel for Waterbury Open Escapement mantle clock

    Hi Folks,

A friend called me tonight; he polished and damaged the escapement on his Waterbury Open Escapement metal mantle clock.

Does anyone have any extra escape wheels from a junker movement or have a suggestion where he might locate an escape wheel.

    Thanks.... Andy Dervan

Get ebay junker movement. Count number of teeth and write to seller to confirm.

Well ANDY, is it possible to elaborate on the damage? Bent teeth? Bent arbor or pivots. I'm trying to imagine how an escapewheel could be damaged beyond use unless it fell on the floor and he stepped on it. It MAY be repairable.

Which movement? The round movement or kidney(?)?
