That's a great thrift shop find. The tapered cylinder on the pendulum, just above the "6," has an arrow with "F" and "S" on it. You can adjust the timekeeping with that. The clock will keep very accurate time with careful adjustment.
my girlfriend picked this up for me at a thrift store a couple of weeks ago. it was running! it runs a little slow,but what the heck, the other 20 or so dont keep perfect time either. some day i need to tinker with them.

I have the same clock sitting on my desk at work. I also got mine at a thrift shop and after a little adjustment it keeps great time. The clock always gets interesting comments from coworkers.
