Nice British Watch Company cased 1948 9ct gold Trebex watch of lovely proportions came my way just last week. Keeping good time and just love the centre seconds hand.

The Hands are lume filled but inactive now of course and are finely blued steel and in certain light conditions really look smart. The dial has obviously got some patina to it but still looks really good. This was from a Dealer who obtained it from an estate sale, so I assume it's pretty original - though maybe the crystal was changed at some point.

Shown against my Breitling shows it's a nice size for that period. I also find the offset movement fitting quite odd, something I've not noticed before.

I post it just for interest.

Apologies I may have posted this in the wrong section - please move it if I have............Sorry.
