    Default James McCabe clock

    Hello, i have recently heard of a 12-bell chain-fusee James McCabe bracket clock. I hope very soon i will be able to get some pictures of them....has anyone heard or or got this type of clock?.

    With twelve bells, it is probably a musical clock.

    Here's one with 16 bells. It played 14 tunes.

    It will be a musical clock playing multiple tunes. James McCabe is a well known maker, Loomes lists him as originally from Lurgan, Ireland, then Belfast and then London from 1778, member of the Clockmakers' Company. His sons continued the business under his name until 1883.
