    Default Deytime Register time clock

Has anyone more information on the Deytime Register time clock? The dial has Endicott, N.Y. written as to their location. This is a large time clock with a ticker tape inside to record start and stop times with employees. The front of the clock has a large moveable arm to record the person, looks like up to 149 employees, that they move the arm with a pin into and it records the time they "clocked in".
    Thanks in advance
    Jim

Hi, Jim. This site has a pretty good history of Dey clocks:

I suspect yours was made after ITR purchased Dey, just from the Endicott location.
The home page may also have some information of interest to you:

Thanks Harold! I sent an email off to antique time clocks after seeing that they are looking for some of these clocks.
    Appreciate it very much.

Jim, I found a bit more on Dey in the book, "An Empire in Time" by Oechsle and Boyce.
Dey Time Register Company was sold to ITR in 1907, and moved to Enticott, NY. ITR retained the Dey Time Register clocks as one of their line of clocks, and the dial recorders were made and serviced by ITR as late as 1950.

Injoyed reading your post----sounds like you have a wealth of knowledge. Just acquired a Dey Time Register and need the two wheels and lever that was supposed be mounted on the front. Thanks for any help, Charles Crow Penn Valley, Ca chasdi@att.net

Hi, Chasdi, welcome to the message board. It will take a lot of luck for you to happen onto your missing parts. I have an ITR dial clock that is also missing it's front wheel and punch mechanism.
Post a few pictures of yours.

Hi Herold, thanks for the reply. I also have a ITR (cut-off),the case that they put the movement in is nice and it keeps good time. It will go 3 weeks between windings. I found a web site that has the wheels and lever--to the tune of $1000. My clock is not in that price range, so I can't justify that kind of money . Take Care, Charles Crow Penn Valley, Ca
