    I don't. In 1890, average annual wage in the US was $450 per year. In 1900, the average AMerican worker made from $200 to $400 per year. So these clocks cost roughly 1 1/2 to 2 months pay.

    A best 1897 watch reference is the reprint catalog 104. Fourth made. Available from Amazon, etc. Gold case descriptions are interesting as many for ladies but only very few 14k with light weight 40 pw, 2 0z. for 18s gold. No 18k listed. Hampdens highest price.
