R.W. Company pocket watch
On behalf of my mother I am looking for some info on a pocket watch that belonged to her father.
It's a R.W. Company made in Rockford IL 17 jewel and the number on the back of the watch is 501770 then there is another number 867761.
I think hard to make out could be 807761
Can anyone help her out?

Re: R.W. Company pocket watch (RE: spikedog)
Assuming that 501,770 is the number on the movement, your watch is a 17 jewel movement made to be fitted to a hunting (closed cover) case. It is a Model 10, Grade 835, made about 1897. A total of 17,938 of the Grade 835 were made.Ed Ueberall
