    dear Kevin,

    last evening i bought an old chiming movement.... unfortunately the case was not there.....

    it is MAUTHE.

    it has the following numbers written on the movement.

    W500

    1665570

    can i find out the age from this/?

    Alex, as far as I know there is no database to date Mauthe clocks by serial numbers.

    I'd say around 1930's to 1940's. Not too often you find a post 1930 Mauthe wall clock.
