    Default Peerless collet

I am making an arbor to fit my Peerless 8mm lathe, and cannot find any information that tells me the thread pitch for the Peerless collets. My metric thread pitch gauge has only .75, .70, and .65 in the general area that seems to match the sample collet I am using for a model. Goodrich does not give the pitch for the Peerless 8mm, nor does my my copy of The Machinist's Manual. Does anyone know what pitch I need?

According to "The Watchmaker's and Model Engineer's Lathe, A Users Manual" by Donald de Carle the Marshall Peerless thread pitch is .625 mm
