- NAWCC Businesses and Horological Sites by Region
Review: Between the NAWCC Member Links and the NAWCC business directory you should be able to locate almost every clock supply and repair business that is a NAWCC member. This is a great resource to lookup local clock related businesses and also to refer moving customers to.
- AWCI Watch and Clock Makers Referral Directory
Review: Similar to the NAWCC directories above but maintained by the American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute.

These companies carry a wide range of tools, parts, and supplies that cover most needs. Suggest you order a catalog from each business listed. Review: The best source for shellac--look under finishes. Cut your own or buy liquid. Homestead-brand liquid form is available concentrated with a shelf life of one year while Zinsser-brand has a three year shelf life but we have reports of the can leaking. Also available are all supplies needed for cutting your own shellac. Be sure to pickup what you need.

Review: Excellent source for Zinsser shellac and other woodworking supplies and hardware. Many local stores, on-line shopping, and mail-order catalog available. Blogs on the website are useful for woodworkers.
Review: Go here to get metal and plastic materials. They also have Lab/Office Supplies, Plumbiing, Ducting, HVAC, Electrical, Tools, Machinery, and other Raw Materials.
Review: Supplies to maintain metal and antique finishes. The Plug n Plate will spot-repair any damaged metal surface you have for about $40. Consider gold, silver, brass, and copper on clocks. Forums are available on this site for any questions regarding metal finishing.

Review: The best source for jewelers tools in the US. Compare with Sutton Tools in the UK. Getting started requires that you submit for a new account and wait 24-hours for a customer service representative to contact you before you can sign-in to the website or order a free catalog. Worth the trouble. On-line shopping available.

Review: UK-Based jeweler supplier. Better stock than US shops but overseas shipping is too expensive to recommend regular purchases. Try them if RioGrande, Gesswein, TimeSavers, Empire, FindingKing and Merrits all fail you.

Review: New Life Furniture Masque is highly recommended for cleaning without damaging the finish. Safe for cleaning a shellac base.
Review: Natural treatments for leather and wood. Contains beeswax. Skidmore's Wood Finish Cleaner is recommended for cleaning delicate finishes such as French-polish with a Shellac base.
Review: A natural wax made from beeswax. Very old recipe since 1860 tested and works great to wax over and protect old finishes. Apply after cleaning to get a shine and protective coat.
Review: Use waterslide decal paper to create decals to repair ruined dials from digital recreations. Digital recreations can come from scanned dials or photographs. Consider making a digital backup dial before using a resilvering kit.
